Tulsa Roughnecks FC has forfeited its week one victory over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC per a short statement released by USL Monday afternoon.

Details are still vague, but the only player to appear in the Oklahoma club’s first match that wasn’t in the 18 for their second match was Canadian defender Paris Gee.

There are plenty of rules that could result in a player being declared ineligible. One of the most common infractions involves limits on international players, for which USL squads are capped at 7 foreign players. Other issues could be not getting clearance from the league or federation or submitting a player for a roster after that week’s deadline.

The forfeit replaces the Colorado Springs Switchbacks 4-1 loss to Tulsa with a 3-0 victory. Tulsa’s victory over RGVFC in week two has gone unchanged as of this posting.
